Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh, Al-Bilad and Al-Eqtisadiah newspapers reported in its editorials that despite the health, economic and social challenges and repercussions of the Coronavirus pandemic on the countries and peoples of the whole world, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has demonstrated its high capability and capacity in leading the largest economic group in the world, through a practical roadmap. The papers added that Saudi Arabia unified the efforts of G20 countries in facing the most difficult crisis and worked for a better future for the world at all levels such as the Thought Group that worked on many issues with deep and creative studies. The papers further added that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Chairman of the G20 Summit confirmed in his speech to the G20 Thought Group Summit delivered on his behalf by the Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, that the pandemic was not an obstacle before working of Saudi Arabia Presidency of the G20, but has stimulated international efforts to work for finding solutions to the crisis. The paper concluded that Saudi Arabia, through its successful leading of the G20, is intensifying efforts for the next summit to be chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in order to empower mankind, preserve the planet earth and draw new horizons for the world.
