International Social Innovation Forum (ISIF) is being organized by Ministry of Human Resources, Social Development of Saudi Arabia and G20 Saudi Secretariat as part of the International Conferences Program, honoring the G20 Saudi presidency year 2020. And in cooperation with the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha'at) and (Ethmar) social investment company. The virtual forum taking place on the 1st and 2nd of November 2020 aims to spread the culture of social innovation at local and international levels, from public and private sector institutions to research centers, educational institutions and entrepreneurs. The forum will enable social innovators to learn implementation, highlighting the advanced technologies and methodologies in the field of social innovation and empower creative ideas through dialogue with experts and global thought leaders. The forum will also shed light on opportunities to activate social innovation in all relevant sectors, highlight innovations and successful experiences as well as activating global partnerships regionally, in addition to providing a dynamic platform for social innovation to identify best practices and solutions and provide opportunities to achieve cooperation at all local and international levels. The conference will address several pillars, most notably: educational programs specialized in social innovation, the role of educational institutions and methodologies of systemic thinking. Focusing on the private sector and the importance of its role in the fields of innovation in addition to the social innovation initiatives undertaken in financial sector. It will also focus on the Arab world, youth and women empowerment and the role of the economy. The forum will also highlight the future of social innovation post the pandemic and the paths of intersection of technology with social innovation. To expand the circle of international interest in the forum, the International Social Innovation Forum concluded strategic partnerships with international organizations such as ASHOKA, an international organization concerned with promoting social entrepreneurship, SIX, an organization working with societal issues and specialized in inspiring societies to use innovation to increase social impact and interested in building and developing societies where everyone is required to be a change maker to for the collective benefit of the society. Keeping in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, the forum aims to promote and support a culture of social innovation and increase the contribution of small and medium enterprises in the economy. As well as effectively attracting appropriate global talent and promoting companies' fulfillment of their social responsibilities, in addition to supporting the growth of the non-profit sector and enabling non-profit organizations to achieve a greater impact.
