A bombing in Bogota has left two people dead and three injured, officials said Saturday, blaming the Marxist rebel group, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). The blast Friday night was caused by a timed explosive device that had been placed at a bus stop in southern Bogota. It killed a taxi driver and his passenger as they drove by the stop. A police spokesman said FARC was the chief suspect. Colombia's largest rebel group has been fighting the government for 40 years. Right-wing paramilitaries are also active in the capital.
