The General Authority of Meteorology and Environment Protection foretasted the weather for today as thunderstorms accompanied by active winds on the heights of Jazan, Assir, Baha, Makkah, and Medina, while thunderstorms accompanied by active winds on some parts of the eastern region.
In its report, the Authority stated that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea is southwesterly to northwesterly at speed of 16-38 km/h, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf is southeasterly to easterly at a speed 14-36 km/h.
