Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi on Tuesday discussed with his Iraqi Foreigh Minister Fouad Hussein efforts underway to advance Jordanian-Iraqi cooperation in economic, political and defense spheres. During a telephone conversation, the ministers reviewed progress made towards widening cooperation between Jordan, Iraq and Egypt based on the outcome of an August summit meeting between King Abdullah II, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported. Emphasizing Jordanian-Iraqi relations, Safadi said Jordan will always stand by Iraq and offer all support the Iraqi government needs to overcome all challenges and maintain the country's security and stability.
