President of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha), Mazen bin Ibrahim Al-Kahmous, held a meeting today via video call with the Secretary General of INTERPOL Jürgen Stock. At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority thanked the Secretary General of INTERPOL for accepting the Kingdom's invitation to participate in the first Anti-Corruption Ministerial Meeting of the G20, which will be held on the 22nd of October in order to promote integrity and unite all efforts by the G20 countries. A number of issues of common interest were discussed. The President of Nazaha stated that the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, were keen for the G20 to adopt some pioneering initiatives in fighting corruption. For his part, the Secretary General of the INTERPOL praised the prominent role of the Kingdom in fighting corruption and expressed his aspiration for more cooperation in promoting integrity.
