Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh, Al-Bilad and Al-Eqtisadaih newspapers reported in their editorials that the speech delivered by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz before UN general assembly has affirmed the firm policy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in dealing with the events and global issues. The papers added that the speech highlighted the efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia to confront the novel Coronavirus pandemic that has spread everywhere in the world and its contribution in supporting international efforts to reduce the effects of this pandemic in various aspects of activities. The papers further added that Saudi Arabia held a global conference of G20, as it is holding its presidency and provided assistances that benefited many countries in the world. The papers concluded that the speech has confirmed the important Saudi Arabia's role in confronting regional issues, combating terrorism and extremism and addressing global challenges related to economic stability and energy markets.
