Ahmed bin Aqil Al-Kateeb, Minister of Tourism, and Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), have signed an agreement to establish the UNWTO Regional Office for the Middle East in Riyadh. This step comes within the importance of developing the sector of tourism and implementing the organization's activities in the Middle East under a supervision of the UNWTO Secretary General. This office an integral part of the World Tourism Organization. The organization will manage the office from its headquarters in Madrid, Spain.
