Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arena. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that a bomb-laden UAV launched by the terrorist, Iran-backed Houthi militia in a systematic, deliberate attempt to target passengers at Abha International Airport, through which thousands of passengers, citizens, and various-nationality expats, travel every day. The editorial further said that these treacherous attacks are added to the long terrorist record of Houthi crimes against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Yemeni people who suffer destruction, starvation, and displacement. The newspaper added that these terrorist crimes have reaffirmed the role of those militias in implementing the Iranian agenda that targets the security and stability of the region, especially Saudi Arabia. The editorial concluded the United Nations should exercise its political and legal responsibilities towards stopping Iran's supply of ballistic missiles and weapons to the Houthi militia and to end its political and legal violations of Security Council Resolution 2216 and stop its hostile practices that cause prolonging the war in Yemen and threatening international peace and security in the region.
