Assistant Minister of Health and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali announced in a press conference here today that 1,068 new confirmed cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 310,836 cases, including 22,136 active cases undergoing treatment. Of these, there are 1,601 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable. Dr. Al-Abdulaali added that 33 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities, at 3,755. "As many as 1,013 cases have recovered, raising recoveries' toll to 284,945," he said. With regard to the tests, he disclosed that new 59,467 laboratory tests were conducted in the Kingdom during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of the lab tests to 4,850,659.
