The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned in a statement today, the terrorist Houthi militia for launching a booby-trapped drone towards the southern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a ballistic missile targeting the city of Jazan, where the forces of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen managed to intercept and destroy the booby-trapped drone and the ballistic missile. OIC Secretary-General, Dr. Yusuf bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, strongly denounced targeting of civilians and civilian objects, noting that the use of civilian objects and civilians as human shields at the site of the missile launch confirms Houthi militia's reluctance and those who support and supplies it with money and weapons, in addition to deliberately committing terrorist acts. He renewed the Organization's support for the efforts of the Coalition forces to support legitimacy and the Organization's stand and solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to protect its territories, citizens and residents.
