The Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will hold its 65th meeting next Saturday in Jeddah. The meeting will be held at the level of GCC ministers of finance and economy. The Committee will focus on financial and economic matters, especially means of enhancing cooperation between the GCC States in order to realize the joint Gulf market as well as establishing the GCC monetary union and opting for a unified GCC currency before 2010. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
