Sevilla forward Lucas Ocampos remains a doubt for the Europa League final against Inter Milan, coach Julen Lopetegui said Thursday, according to dpa. The 26-year-old Argentina winger Ocampos went off injured in the semi-final victory over Manchester United and is battling a thigh problem to make Friday's match in Cologne. Lopetegui told a news conference that his top scorer Ocampos still had time to recover but warned "everyone needs to be 100 per cent" for the final. "Inter are a comprehensive side, they've got great players," said Lopetegui. "They're able to attack in the final third and they don't offer too many opportunities to the opposition at the other end. "We'll try to maximise our strengths and dig in when the going gets tough." Sevilla are the record winners of the Europa League and hope to lift the trophy for a sixth time in Cologne. The Europa League is concluding with a behind-closed-doors mini-tournament in western Germany having been suspended earlier in the season due to the coronavirus pandemic. Sevilla midfielder Nemanja Gudelj missed the quarter-final win against Wolves having tested positive for the virus but returned to the squad for Sunday's win over United.
