Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that one of the objectives of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 is to achieve development in human capabilities by improving the outputs of the education and training system in all its stages to achieve global levels in a way that enables it to keep pace with national transformation plans and programs and to achieve the desired level in the quality of life and the capabilities of Saudi Arabia. The newspaper added that the initiatives adopted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) demonstrates Saudi Arabia's ability and the strength of its planning and strategic system to move forward in order to achieve the objectives of its vision. The Minister of Education Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh's announcement of the mechanism for resuming the new school year 2020/2021 via distance learning programs for seven weeks in all public schools confirms the trust in members of the education system to efficiently manage the distance education processes, the paper added. In another context, Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that the world is facing many intertwined issues and crises at various levels, including Coronavirus pandemic, which has caused very difficult health and economic consequences. The newspaper added that these current issues and circumstances are being dealt with by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under its wise leadership and with sincere will and high wisdom through its role based on its position and its presidency of the G20, which reflects the depth of Riyadh's forward-looking of global challenges and its ability to draw a more capable, ambitious and advanced map for the world's future. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has continued to play its influential role in various international and regional forums in order to achieve security, peace and stability in the region and the world, the newspaper added.
