Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues, at local, regional, and international arenas. Al-Riyadh and Al-Yaum newspapers said in their editorials that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is standing by the brotherly people in Lebanon and seeking to help them until they overcome their ordeal in complete peace. The papers added that Saudi Arabia has dispatched a relief airlift in several stages, as the first stage includes two planes carrying 120 tons of medical and emergency supplies. The papers indicated that the relief airlift bridge came under the direction of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) was assigned to direct humanitarian and development aid to the beneficiaries in Lebanon and supervise the distribution operations. The papers emphasized that the Saudi support for Lebanon will contribute to relieving pressure on Lebanese hospitals, which facing difficult conditions in treating patients infected with the emerging coronavirus and limiting its spread, adding that this support will continue until Lebanese people overcome their crises.
