Syrian Vice-President Abdul-Halim Kachaddam met with Iraqi Kurdish leader Massoud Barzani on Sunday for talks on developments in Iraq.
Barzani and Khaddam discussed ways of preserving Iraq's national unity and avoiding internal conflicts, the official news agency SANA reported. They also covered the role of Iraq's neighbours in assisting the country, SANA reported.
