The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) inaugurated here today the Saudi oil derivatives (products) grant to generate and operate power stations, in the Yemeni Al-Mahra Governorate, in its consecutive 3rd year, already benefiting the inhabitants, through the previous two-year. A ship consignment of the grant earmarked for July, containing 4,800 tons of Diesel, was received by the Governor of Al-Mahra Mohammed Ali Yasser and other dignitaries and notables of the governorate, as it arrived, during a ceremony held here. Addressing the audience, the governor pointed out the significance of the grant in backing up and operating power generating stations, to best serve the main utilities in the governorate, such as the hospitals and other amenities, extending thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince. He announced that the (SDRPY) is about to install a 40 megawatt power station, roads paving projects and establishing King Salman Medical City, in the governorate, in furtherance to an array of previously made service and development relating projects, in the domains of electricity, education and health, in addition to other humanitarian, relief and logistics aspects. Such support falls in line with embodying the profound of strong fraternal bonds binding the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Yemen, the governor concluded.
