An official source at the Ministry of Interior stated that as a continuous of the efforts made by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 on individuals, private sector establishments and investors, economic activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and to take all preventive measures to prevent COVID-19 spread; the following was approved: 1 - Extending the validity of the final exit visa for expatriates free of charge. 2 - Extending the validity of expired Residence Permit (Iqama) for expatriates who are outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on exit and return visa, which expires during the period of suspension of entry and exit from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for a period of 3 months free of charge. 3- Extending the validity of unused exit and return visa for expatriates, during the period of suspension of entry and exit from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for a period of 3 months free of charge. 4- Extending the validity of the exit and return visa for all expatriates who are outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which expires during the period of suspension of entry and exit from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for a period of 3 months free of charge. 5- Extending the validity of Residence Permit (Iqama) for expatriates who are inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and arrived on a visit visa that ends during the period of suspension of entry and exit from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for a period of 3 months free charge. The source pointed out that, according to the content of the Royal Order, these exceptions are subject to continuous follow-up and change according to need.
