Egypt has strongly condemned the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia's four booby-trapped drones launching, targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), which the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen forces have intercepted. In a statement, Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all its measures to protect its national security, stressing that such acts will only lead to further escalating, deepening the tension, and pushing Yemen to chaos. Egypt reaffirmed the importance of responding to all ceasefire initiatives, in order to reach a settlement to that crisis, in accordance with the GCC initiative and its implementation mechanisms, the outcomes of the comprehensive national dialogue, and the Security Council Resolution No. 2216.
