Director of the Islamic Institute in Denmark Dr. Shahid Mahdi, praised the decision taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to hold Hajj of the year 1441 AH with very limited numbers because of the spread of the pandemic of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) around all over the world. In a statement, Dr. Shahid said that the most important precautionary measures implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the guidance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, are based on the suspension of Umrah and the visit to the Prophet's Mosque, in order to limit the spread of the Covid-19, adding that the allowing to hold Hajj season for this year with very limited number is to preserve Muslims' souls.
