GCC Secretary General Dr. Naif Fallah Mubarak Al-Hajraf has condemned Houthi militia's launch of a number of ballistic missiles and bomb-laden UAVs towards Riyadh, Jazan and Najran, which targeted civilians and civil objects. In a statement, the GCC Secretary General stressed that these hostile acts represent a flagrant violation of the international laws and norms that prevent targeting civilians and civil objects, adding that these acts are not only aimed at destabilizing the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, but also the security and stability of the region. Dr. Al-Hajraf praised the efficiency and preparedness of the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces, which were able to intercept the ballistic missiles and bomb-laden UAVs before they reached their target, stressing the cooperation of the GCC to the side of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all the measures it takes to preserve its security and stability and the safety of its citizens, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities and stand firmly in the face of the Houthi militia in its continuous attempts to destabilize security and peace in the region.
