Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional, and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is facing COVID-19 pandemic with wisdom, which has mitigated many of its repercussions on citizens, expatriates and the private sector. The state agencies have succeeded in providing reassuring performance in all phases of the crisis due to the country's ideal digital infrastructure, which the government gave an exceptional attention and invested in it substantially, that made the Kingdom today at the forefront of the countries in the region and the world with an ideal and advanced digital environment. The paper pointed out that in light of the pandemic and the periods of quarantine curfew and social distancing, the Kingdom and its people are reaping the fruits of establishing the digital environment, by continuing to provide government services electronically, having the ability to continue the process of teaching, learning and scientific research remotely, and making the most of this environment in the health sector, as well as enhancing social media and improve the quality of life. The paper said that the Kingdom's interest in the advanced digital infrastructure was one of the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which stressed the importance of innovation and creativity in everything that is accomplished within the country and that this creativity can only be achieved by creating an advanced digital infrastructure in all fields. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that global oil markets continue their trend towards stability coupled with a gradual increase towards fair prices, which is important for the growth of the global economy and is understood by all parties, so the imbalance remains a temporary condition imposed by the variables of the supply and demand. This calls for cooperation and a joint move to control the oil market with a normal relative margin upwards or downwards.
