Al-Amal Medical Center in the town of Arsal in the Lebanese Bekaa Governorate continued to provide medical services, with the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, as part of a project to strengthen health services for Syrian refugees and the host community in Arsal. The clinics received 4,575 patients last May, who got 8,123 free health services in various specialized clinic departments, in addition to laboratories, pharmacy and other nursing services with following the necessary procedures and precautions in light of the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The medical director of the project, Dr. Tariq Shandab, explained that Al-Amal Medical Center aims to serve more than 45,000 beneficiaries, providing them with health care in various fields, in addition to having an emergency department that works 24 hours, with an integrated pharmacy providing medicines free of charge to all patients, expressing his deep gratitude for the various humanitarian services provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, to the refugees and the hosting community.
