Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Northern Borders region, today launched the projects for resettling of Salsola and fields of reducing carbon footprint by planting trees, under the theme: "It's Time for Nature", coinciding with the World Environment Day (WED), which falls today, Friday, June 5, 2020, a call for urgent action to protect "Biodiversity". On the occasion, he expressed his great interest in environmental development and limiting its destruction, because it has a profound impact on the quality of human life and safety from all pollutants as well as on climate changes and their implications. The Governor of the Northern Borders regions also stressed that preserving the planet is one of the most important issues of G20, including reducing land degradation by reforestation of the planet.
