Yemeni Minister of Education, Dr. Abdullah Al-Amlas welcomed the organization by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in partnership with the United Nations, of the Donors' Conference for Yemen 2020 virtually, to increase awareness of the humanitarian crisis in his country and to announce financial pledges to meet basic needs there. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, he expressed his hope that the conference would contribute to alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people who are suffering from the novel Corona pandemic and the coup of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia over Yemeni legitimacy, looking forward that the conference would contribute to supporting the educational process that was affected by events in his country.
