An official source at the Ministry of Interior stated that, according to the royal directive, the Ministry of Interior announces the precautionary measures and preventive protocols for several sectors to limit the spread of the coronavirus. The preventive protocols are prepared by the Ministry of Health, which covers the period from 8 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding to May 31, 2020 to 28 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding to 20 June 2020. The source pointed out that the protocols include the following sectors: Mosques protocols. Public sector protocols. Petroleum, petrochemical and gas sector protocols. Electricity protocols. Construction sector protocols. Construction sector protocols - existing projects. Protocols for wholesale and retail trade stores, malls and commercial centers. Public benefit markets protocols. Protocols for social shelters, except for nursing homes. Administrative and office business protocols. Restaurant and cafes protocols. Home delivery protocols. Hourly maid protocols for home. Appendix (1) clarifies the categories covered by the health controls for suspending attendance at workplaces during the period specified in the preventive protocols.
