Egypt Reports New 1,289 Cases of COVID-19

Egyptian Ministry of Health reported today 1289 new laboratory-confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and the death of 34 new cases.
Ministry of Health Spokesperson Dr. Khaled Mujahid said that 152 of those infected with the virus have been discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, after their recovery.
Mujahid stated that the total number of COVID-19 infections in Egypt until today reached 22,082 cases, including 5,511 cases that have recovered and been discharged from isolation hospitals and 879 deaths.
