S. Korea records highest daily increase in Covid -19 virus infection since early April

South Korean health authorities reported today the highest daily increase in Covid-19 virus infections in nearly
two months, dpa reported.
On Wednesday, 79 new cases were detected, bringing the country's total to 11,344, according to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC).
The country's death toll did not increase overnight, and stands at 269, according to the KCDC.
