Shares slipped in Asia on Friday, AP reported. Hong Kong's benchmark led regional losses, dropping 3.9% to 23,332.78. The Shanghai's Composite index fell 1.4%, to 2,828.62, Nikkei 225 index fell 20,462.11 and the Kospi in South Korea lost 1.4% to 1,969.77. In Australia, the S&P/ASX 200 declined 0.5% to 5,525.30. Shares also fell in Southeast Asia. Oil prices fell back on Friday, with benchmark U.S. crude losing $1.30 to $32.62 per barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. It closed higher on Thursday, the sixth day in a row, gaining 43 cents, or 1.3%, to $33.92 a barrel. The U.S. dollar fetched 107.56 Japanese yen, down from 107.63 yen on Thursday. The euro weakened to $1.0937 from $1.0950.
