U.S. FDA Authorizes At-Home COVID-19 Sample Collection Kit

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has authorized an at-home sample collection kit.
The authorization issued today allows an individual to self-collect a nasal sample at home that can then be sent to specified laboratories for COVID-19 diagnostic testing in a short time.
