Number of coronavirus cases in Mexico surpasses 42,500

The total number of coronavirus cases in Mexico increased by 2,409 and reached 42,595, Deputy Minister of Health Hugo Lopez-Gatell said on Friday, Russian News Agency (TASS) reported.
According to him, the number of laboratory confirmed cases of infection reached 42,595.
He added that 10,057 people showed symptoms over the past 14 days.
Over the past day, 257 patients died, the total number of deaths increased to 4,477.
