The Thai official TV addressed today a report in the main news bulletin, on the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Ramadan Iftar (breakfast), implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by the Office of the Islamic Counselor at Saudi Embassy in Bangkok, noting the excellence of the program in helping families in need in Thailand. The report hailed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian efforts in the month of Ramadan through this program, which it carries out yearly, especially this year due to the precautionary measures implemented by most countries to prevent the spread of the new Coronavirus. The Office of the Islamic Counselor at the Saudi Embassy in Bangkok, held yesterday the inauguration ceremony of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Program for Ramadan Iftar for the year 1441 AH, at the Sheikh Al-Islam Office in Bangkok. The Office of the Islamic Counselor at the Saudi Embassy in Bangkok, distributed more than 4000 food baskets targeting 30 thousand fasting people in all states of Thailand, especially the southern states of the density of Muslims in which about 2500 food baskets distributed. The Office also distributed 1000 food baskets in Bangkok and its suburbs, 250 baskets in the north, and 250 baskets in the Isan region in the east. It is noteworthy that the distribution of food baskets in coordination with the Islamic councils of the Sheikh Al-Islam office in all the states.
