Firecracker factory blast kills 27 in China

A massive explosion at a fireworks factory in China's southwestern Guangxi province killed 27 people and left 59 injured, 16 seriously, the Xinhua news agency said on Tuesday.
The powerful blast flattened six factory workshops on Monday afternoon in a small town around 300 km (180 miles) from the provincial capital of Nanning, Xinhua said.
