The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Indonesia has exceeded 10,000 for the first time, the country's Covid-19 task force announced on Thursday, according to dpa. The number of confirmed infections rose to 10,118 after 347 cases were reported overnight, task force spokesman Achmad Yurianto said. Eight new deaths brought the death toll to 792, he said. Yurianto said so far the country had carried out more than 72,000 tests.
