Assistant Minister of Health and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali said that 1289 new cases were reported today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, adding that 791 cases confirmed today are detected via the active screening which represent 61% of the total cases. In a press conference today, Dr. Al-Abdulaali said that the new cases were reported in many cities and governorates in the Kingdom. He pointed out that the cases confirmed today represent 86% for non-Saudis with 1089 cases and 16% for Saudis with 200 cases. Dr. Al-Abdulaali also said that the total COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom is 18,811, including 16,136 cases active cases and 117 critical cases. The number of the new recoveries is 174, bringing the total number to 2531. The number of new deaths is 5, bringing the total to 144. He called on whoever has symptoms or would like to check-up, to use the self-assessment service in MAWID application, and inquire or consult the Health Center (937) around the clock.
