King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched yesterday a project to distribute 20,000 food baskets in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, coinciding with the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan. Benefiting about 120,000 people there, these baskets will be distributed in 10 boroughs in Punjab province in coordination with its government. In a statement on this occasion, the Governor of Punjab, Chaudhry Srour, extended, on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan, deep thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince for their permanent goodness, stressing that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is always known to stand by Pakistan in all hardships and difficult times. He explained that the food baskets project launched by KSrelief will help the poor and needy families in Punjab province, stressing that the Center's team is distinguished by its dedication to providing humanitarian assistance at all times.
