Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a soldier and three Russian law enforcement officers in the Chechen capital, killing all four, Russian media reported Sunday. The soldier and the three officers were on patrol in Grozny's Leninsky district Saturday evening and had stopped two cars to check the passengers' documents, the Interfax news agency reported, quoting Maj.-Gen. Ilya Shabalkin, a Russian government spokesman in Chechnya.
