The Cabinet reviewed via the virtual network the royal orders and directives issued to limit the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) as well as the decisions and precautionary measures taken by the state agencies to implement the royal orders and directives. The Cabinet praised the royal directives issued immediately following the declaration of Coronavirus pandemic, instructing all state sectors, particularly the Ministry of Health and other government sectors, to take precautionary and preventive measures. The Cabinet affirmed the Kingdom's ability to deal with this pandemic and limit its effects on the society and the national economy. The Cabinet commended the measures taken by the State to ensure work continuity in Government sector in order to provide all services to citizens and expatriates, and to ensure supporting private sector and stimulating economic activities in order to maintain financial sustainability as well as the stability of financial and economic sector. The Cabinet also praised the measures taken to ensure an abundance of food and medicine supplies. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Acting Minister of Media Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi stated that the Cabinet praised the Royal Order providing health care in all government and private health facilities to all citizens, residents and violators of the residency regulation who are infected with Coronavirus. In this regard, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques thanked state agencies, private sector, medical teams, security men and volunteers for their sacrifices and efforts, appreciating the citizens and expatriates for their commitment to the instructions.
