KSrelief Clinics in Zaatari Camp Distributes Medicines for Chronic Diseases to Syrian Refugees in their Place of Residence to Protect them from Coronavirus
The Clinics of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in Zaatari refugee camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan has distributed medicines for refugees suffering from chronic diseases by delivering it to them in their homes inside the camp within the framework of the protection from the threat of the spread of coronavirus, in cooperation with the Jordanian Ministry of Health and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Chronic diseases medicines were distributed to 840 patients approved by the clinics and they represent about 80% of patients suffering from chronic diseases, and these medicines are sufficient for three months, which is the recommended amount by the UNHCR. This move comes from the keenness of the center on this segment of people because they are more vulnerable to infection with this virus due to their weak immunity.
