Director-General of the World Health Organization Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stressed the need to find out the infected people and conduct testing and diagnostics, and isolate the infected cases with the new Coronavirus (COVID-19) to contain the epidemic. Then, he affirmed the importance of finding out the people in contact with the infected cases. In a press conference held today, he said that the infected cases in a number of countries have exceeded the capacity of the hospitals to take care of the infected people, calling for giving priority to the older patients. He clarified that the WHO has shipped almost 1.5 million tests to 120 countries, and it is working with companies to increase the availability of tests.
