The Ministry of Health reported a new case of the new Coronavirus (COVID-19) for an Egyptian transit passenger coming from New York heading to Cairo through King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah. Thermal health monitoring cameras detected an increase in the patient's temperature, and he was isolated from the airport directly, and transferred to a hospital in Jeddah. The passenger was in Egypt before flying to the United States of America during the 14 days prior to his arrival at Jeddah airport. This brings the total number of recorded cases of infection with the new Coronavirus in the Kingdom to 21 cases. The Ministry of Health assures everyone that the cases are currently quarantined, being dealt with and provided with the health care in accordance to approved health procedures. The Ministry of Health called upon everyone who were in countries where the new Coronavirus is spread, to immediately communicate with the Health Service Center 937 for advice that protects them, their families and society. The Ministry of Health also called upon everyone to communicate with the Ministry in the event of any desire to inquire about the virus, stressing that information should be taken from its official sources and not heed rumors.
