Assaf bin Salem Abothnain, member of the Shura Council, who serves as Chairman of the Saudi side of the Saudi-Mauritanian Parliamentary Friendship Committee, has received here, the ambassador-designate of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sidi Aali Ould Sidi Aali, it was reported today. At the outset of the meeting, which took place yesterday, Abothnain, congratulated Sidi Aali Ould Sidi Aali on the occasion of being appointed as ambassador of his country to the Kingdom, wishing him success in further enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries, particularly between the two chambers. During the meeting, they discussed a number of topics and issues of common concern between the Kingdom and Mauritania, and reviewed cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries in various fields.
