Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is keen to make progress in various fields, including artificial intelligence, as it has already established the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) which launched its identity yesterday. It is expected that depending on Artificial Intelligence would contribute to more than 500 billion riyals of the Kingdom's GDP by 2030, equivalent to 12.4%, the paper said. It concluded that the Kingdom has made great progress in benefiting from the value of data that forms an important part of national assets since the launch of its ambitious vision 2030, by developing the national strategy for data and artificial intelligence and creating various economic data sectors.
