US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called on Iran to be held accountable for withdrawing its obligations under international nuclear agreements, stressing that Iran's failure to report nuclear material is a clear violation of the nuclear non-proliferation agreements. "All countries should hold Iran accountable under the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, which has formed the basis for ways to control nuclear weapons globally since the Cold War," Pompeo told a news conference today at the State Department. He stressed that the Iranian regime must cooperate immediately with the International Atomic Energy Agency, and fully comply with the obligations contained in the safeguards agreements of the Agency.
