The 9th Cultures and Peoples' Festival being organized by the Islamic University in Madinah allows 100 countries to showcase their culture. It is a gathering place that aims to create a space where all can meet, share, and learn about each other's cultures and heritage. In this festival, people can travel across the world in one day and place. The 9th Cultures and Peoples' Festival is an influential event where students present their cultures to enhance and strengthen the global dialogue, peaceful coexistence, bonds, and to spread peace and love between different nations. The festival also plays a role in promoting Islamic values and team work. The festival that has 100 different countries' pavilions has attracted a large number of visitors. These pavilions are organized by students of the Islamic University. They wear their traditional costumes and introduce the history of their countries, in addition to their social life and traditional food. The festival also includes different activities, programs, and competition for visitors. This edition of the festival includes the participation of Equestrian Club of Madinah that organizes mounted archery competition. It also includes a marathon and a march organized by the Saudi Red Crescent Authority. The festival also specified a corner for Qisat Al-Makan (Story of the Place) Museum that offers visitors a rich and cultural experience about the holy and historic stories and places including the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah and Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem (AlQuds). A number of government and private agencies also participate in the festival, including the General Directorate of Prisons, Ministry of Housing, and Madinah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The festival receives visitors from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
