Unidentified assailants shot dead the deputy sales manager of Iraq's state-run North Oil Thursday in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, police said. The manager, Saana Toma Suleiman, had just left his house for work when the attackers shot him in his car, police added. A man accompanying him survived, but sustained injuries. Last Saturday, Mohammed Zibari, the director of North Oil was injured in an attack on his convoy which left five of his bodyguards dead. --SP 1328 Local Time 1028 GMT
