Yemeni Information Minister Muamar Al-Iryani confirmed that the failed terrorist operation that the Houthi militia planned to carry out in the Red Sea and Bab El-Mandab comes within the escalating path of its terrorist crimes in implementation of Iran's sabotage policies in the region. Al-Iryani said in a statement, carried by the Yemeni news agency (Saba) today, that the failed terrorist action that the Houthi militia planned to implement in the south of the Red Sea by using a booby-trapped remotely-controled boat, which attempted to plant marine mines, reaffirmed the danger that it poses as they still have a presence in parts of the coastline that endangers shipping lines and the international trade movement, and threatens the international peace and security. He pointed out to the fact that these terrorist crimes would not have taken place without the exploitation of the Houthi militia to Stockholm Agreement and the continued control of the ports and the city of Hodeidah, calling on the UN envoy to Yemen Martin Griffith to take a clear position on the continuous escalation of the Houthi militia that crossed the red lines by trying to target the movement of commercial vessels.
