Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and with direct support by His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, the equestrian club in Riyadh will organize on Saturday, February 29 of this month, the "Saudi Cup" for horse racing in its first session, in King Abdulaziz Field in Riyadh.
Prince Bandar bin Khalid Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Club's Board of Directors, explained that this event would convey to the world the cultural scene that the Kingdom is experiencing not only at the sporting level, but at all levels, and will also reflect the image of our vibrant society, and thriving economy and progress in all areas included in the Kingdom's 2030 vision, welcoming all participants from all over the world.
He confirmed in a press conference organized by the club this evening at the members' club in Riyadh, the participation of the best horses, trainers and riders from all over the world in the first international race of this size held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, considering the Saudi Cup awards as the highest at the level of similar races in the world with a value of $ 29.2 million.
