Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Riyadh will host next Tuesday the works of the Global Cybersecurity Forum, which is organized by the National Cybersecurity Authority for two days. This forum is the first of its kind in the region as the world is facing increasing cyber threats and risks that require concerted efforts at the international level to address them. More than 100 officials, experts and specialists will attend the forum to discuss the cyber challenges and risks as well as development and investment opportunities in the cybersecurity. The National Cybersecurity Authority, which is the government entity in charge of cybersecurity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the national reference in its affairs, will work, through this forum, to establish an international platform for an open dialogue in this field, paving the way for concrete and effective efforts in which everyone contributes to create a better cyber world, strengthen the international efforts to confront these threats, open wider horizons for investment and innovation in this vital field and to discuss ways to enable further human cadres and qualify them to work in the field of cybersecurity. The organizing of this forum coincides with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's taking over the presidency of the G20 in Riyadh, in addition to the huge investment and technical projects witnessed by the Kingdom according to the Kingdom Vision 2030.
