A Norwegian peace envoy and Tamil Tiger rebels met Thursday to discuss Sri Lanka's stalled peace process but failed to reach any breakthrough, sources close to the guerrillas said. Erik Solheim met with the guerrillas' political chief, S.P. Thamilselvan, for two hours in the rebel-held town of Kilinochchi, according to rebel spokesman Daya Master. Solheim later left for the capital, Colombo, to hold talks with President Chandrika Kumaratunga.
